When the drastic electric change like high or low voltage is detected, the automatic power adjustment control system is automatically activated to work it properly within rated output.
This system prevents a danger caused from the sudden surge by controlling down the excessive output power on high voltage conditions and also it prevents the delay of heating rate by controlling up the short output power on low voltage conditions.
As a result of this system, every users can use safely and conveniently in spite of both of high and low voltage conditions.
In case of 220V environment, the control accuracy of current within allowed full range of voltage change from 207V to 233V is Max. ± 0.3 % by RMS measurement method and Max. ± 3.3% in True RMS measurement method. MerryChef® detects the real-time current value 120 times every second on working. If its value exceeds the allowed limit by any unexpected situation or every reasons, MerryChef® shuts off all the operations and automatically cuts off the power to prevent the danger from overcurrent and ensure the safety.
The conventional control system do not have this kind of safety system to detect the real-time overcurrent and cut off the power with shutoff of all the operations.
When the detected current value exceeds a limit value preset for the safety, all the operations are shut off and the power is automatically cut off alerting with “ Alarm Sound “ and displaying “ OL “ on Timer LED to prevent the dangers from overcurrent and ensure the safety.

When the burner is switched off or even after MerryChef® is turned off, if the residual heat with risk of causing injury remains on cooktop glass, the residual heat warning indicator blinks to warn of danger to users and goes out only after the cooking zone has cooled.
